This drink came in handy while I was cooking, it kept me cool and ensured I didn’t muck up the recipe as it is non-alcoholic!
If strawberries aren’t your thing you can always substitute for raspberries, and also add a nip of Chambord to make it alcoholic.
Here’s what to do.
To make strawberry ice cubes:
Puree a punnet of strawberries in a blender and pour into an ice cube tray. Freeze until ready to use.
To make the drink:
Once frozen, add one or two strawberry ice cubes to the glass.
Next add 30mLs lime juice cordial.
Fill the glass with sparkling mineral water (depending on the size of the glass, ~250mL).
Stir well.
Garnish with fresh strawberries and fresh mint (our mint was from the garden, always tastes better!).
Enjoy the flavours and share with friends.
