I first tasted this delicious treat courtesy of my sister, and have never looked back. It is such a decadent dessert that you need only break it into small pieces for serving. It will last longer, and you will keep you portion control in check. Winner.

You could also try using dried apricots, slivered almonds… The choice is yours!

For another festive variation, try crumbled mint candy canes on top.
